Weekly Doula Office Hours

Every week I open a live Zoom for members. No agenda, no slides, no set topic. You bring what you have got: a client situation you are not sure how to handle, a pricing decision you have been putting off, a question about the contract in front of you, something that happened at a birth that is still sitting with you.

I answer. Other members who have been through the same thing join in. It works like office hours with a professor, which is why it is called that.

About an hour. Every session is recorded, so a week you cannot make is not a week you lose. The day, the time and the Zoom link come in your welcome email.

Twelve Doula Deep Dives a year

One new training a month, on something doulas actually need. Recent ones: preeclampsia, nitrous oxide, HIPAA for doulas, the pelvic floor, perinatal mental health screening, and a Canva crash course.

Four are live in the library at any one time. Each one stays four months, so you have time to get to it without the library turning into a backlog that makes you feel behind.

One Deep Dive each quarter carries one CE contact hour. That is four CE contact hours a year, included, accepted across DONA, ICEA, Lamaze and others.

Unlike the monthly trainings, the call recordings do not expire.

A private feed for the hours you are not at a desk

Every Doula Office Hours session comes to you as a member-only podcast you can stream on the go. Same material, no screen, built for members rather than for a public feed.

Doula work does not happen at a desk. You are driving to a birth, waiting through early labor, folding laundry at 10 p.m. after a long day. This is how you keep learning in those hours.

A private community that is not on Facebook

It sits inside the member area with everything else, so it is one login rather than another app to keep track of.

Not being on Facebook matters two ways. It reaches doulas who are not on Facebook at all. And for the ones who are, it gives you somewhere to talk about money, or a birth or a postpartum visit that went badly, away from the place your clients can find you.
